Help Wanted

Post  allejo on Sun Oct 26, 2008 12:12 pm

On the BZMapping website there is a list of map making programs. Two of the programs have a list of steps on how to make a map. Two of them don't. I wanna ask everyone out there that use BZEditWin32 or pyBZEdit to make a list of steps that could be place on the website. I cannot put the steps because I do not use those programs since I am on a mac. I do put some steps they will inaccurate. So I would like to ask the people who use these programs to make a list and I'll put the list that I feel will help the most.

Thanks,

BZW Test launcher

Post  Dontkillme on Fri Apr 17, 2009 2:15 am

I made a tutorial for bzw test launcher. (1) means picture "1", (2) means picture "2",....

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
First open BZW Test launcher
(1)

First we need to set, where bzfs is.
Click on "Browse..."
(2)

I choose the bzfs from BZFlag 2.0.10rc3. Click on it and click on Open
(3)

Then we need to set, where BZFlag is. I choose BZFlag2.0.10rc3.
(4)

Click on the bzflag file then click on "Open"
(5)

Now you need to choose your map file. I choose "bzpool". Click on your map and then on "Open"
(6)

Now you need to set the Game mode. I choose FFA (Free-For-All)
(7)

I want some bots (Robot Players) because I want to test the map.
(Cool

Then set the other things.
(9)

Now click on "Run..."
(10)

Then your BZFlag opens and you can play the map.
(11)

After testing, you can close your BZFlag. Click on "Stop..."
(12)

Then on the right side, the program will show possible errors. In my case, I added a physics driver too much.
(13)

Then close the program
(14)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The pictures are in this folder:
http://rapidshare.com/files/222358339/BZW.zip.html
Click on "Free User" And wait 30 seconds. Then click on "Download". The download will take 2 minutes.
The download limit is set to 10.
